1. What types of therapy do you offer?
Answer: I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches, including person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and an eclectic approach. This allows me to create a personalized treatment plan based on your unique needs, goals, and preferences.
2. What ages do you work with?
Answer: I work with clients ages 14 and up, focusing on adolescents, young adults, and adults. My practice supports individuals through various life stages, helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and foster personal growth.
3. Do you specialize in any particular areas?
Answer: Yes, I specialize in working with individuals dealing with depression and trauma, with a focus on serving BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. My goal is to create a safe, affirming, and inclusive space, particularly for those who may have felt marginalized or misunderstood.
4. How long is each therapy session?
Answer: Each therapy session typically lasts 50 minutes. For those who feel they need more time, I also offer extended sessions. Together, we’ll determine what works best for you.

Answer: Private pay for therapy and life coaching sessions is $150. For a list of accepted insurance providers, please refer to the “Insurance” section on this page.
6. What is your approach to therapy?
Answer: My approach is deeply person-centered, meaning I view you as the expert on your own life. I integrate evidence-based therapies like CBT, TFCBT, and DBT to best support your needs. My goal is to meet you where you are, tailoring my approach to resonate with your experiences and preferences.
7. Do you offer virtual sessions?
Answer: Yes, I currently offer only virtual sessions via a secure telehealth platform. This provides flexibility and convenience, especially for clients who prefer the comfort of their own environment or live outside the local area.
8. How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Answer: If you’re feeling stuck, experiencing stress, anxiety, trauma, or need a safe space to process life’s challenges, therapy can be a valuable tool. During our initial consultation, we’ll explore your goals and concerns to see if therapy feels like a good fit for you.
9. What can I expect in the first session?
Answer: In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand your experiences, goals, and any immediate needs. The goal is to create a comfortable and open space where you feel heard and respected.
10. How often should I attend sessions?
Answer: Session frequency depends on your needs and goals. Most clients find it helpful to start with weekly sessions, but we can adjust based on your progress and comfort level.
11. How long does therapy take?
Answer: Therapy duration varies depending on the individual and their goals. Some clients find clarity in a few sessions, while others may benefit from a longer commitment. Therapy is a process, and we’ll regularly assess your progress to ensure it continues to meet your needs.
12. Do you offer resources or tools outside of sessions?
Answer: Absolutely. I have resources available, including a workbook designed to support you between sessions, and I can recommend exercises, readings, or coping tools to enhance your experience outside of therapy.
13. What should I expect when working with you?
