What types of therapy do you offer?
I offer evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and a person-centered, eclectic approach.
Treatment is always individualized based on your goals, needs, and lived experience.
What ages do you work with?
I work with clients ages 14 and up, including adolescents, young adults, and adults. Therapy is tailored to support emotional development, identity formation, and healing across life stages.
Do you specialize in specific areas?
Yes. I specialize in depression, trauma, PTSD, and complex trauma, with a particular focus on supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. I strive to provide a safe, affirming space for those who may have felt marginalized or misunderstood in other settings.
How long is each therapy session?
Standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes. Extended sessions are available when clinically appropriate, and we will determine together what best supports your care.
Do you accept insurance or private pay?
I accept most major insurance providers. Coverage can vary by plan, so I recommend inquiring or booking a consultation to confirm whether your insurance is accepted. Private pay for therapy and coaching sessions is $150 per session.
What is your approach to therapy? My approach is deeply person-centered and trauma-informed. I view you as the expert on your life while integrating evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and IFS to support healing, emotional regulation, and long-term growth.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. I currently offer secure virtual therapy sessions for Texas residents. Telehealth allows for flexibility, accessibility, and care in the comfort of your own space.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, impacted by trauma, or needing a safe space to process life’s challenges, therapy may be helpful. During an initial consultation, we’ll explore your concerns and goals together to determine if therapy feels like a good fit.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session focuses on getting to know you, understanding what brought you to therapy, and identifying your goals. My priority is creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the start.
How often should I attend sessions?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, though frequency may change depending on your goals, progress, and comfort level.
How long does therapy last?
Therapy length varies. Some clients benefit from short-term work, while others engage in longer-term healing. We regularly check in to ensure therapy continues to meet your needs.
Do you offer tools or resources outside of sessions?
Yes. I provide resources such as therapy workbooks, worksheets, along with exercises, reflections, and coping tools to support growth between sessions.
What is it like working with you?
Clients often describe working with me as warm, collaborative, and grounding. My goal is to make therapy feel like a space where you can show up fully — without judgment — and feel supported in becoming who you’re meant to be.
How do I gain access to my records or make a report when I need to?
